NOT WORTH THE PRICE , NOT WORTH THE HYPE !!!

With Rapid new launch trend increasing since 2016 through 2017 , we have new products being launched every month . There are some brands revamping same product in new packaging while some have been just par excellence in delivering good quality with every new launch . The launch of new product with a new twist doesn’t mean just tag a hefty price to make it look appealing , overpricing the product has also become a new marketing gimmick to attract the buyer attention .Below are some products that were not worth the hefty price tag and could have been better selling if priced right and lesser air around the product description .

KOPARI
Coconut Melt

A very fancy name and a very fancy description for a jar of virgin cold-pressed Coconut oil .Turn the jar and all you see in the ingredients is Cocos Nucifera (Organic Coconut) Oil . You will see a very fancy label alongside the name Kopari Coconut melt , Paraben free , Sulfate free , Cruelty free , Vegan , but of course a jar of any brand organic coconut oil is just all that . All in all this can be purchased for about 10$ then why pay 38$ for this Kopari ?

FOREO
ISSA Hybrid

199$ is what this toothbrush is priced for .
CLAIMS :
Foreo Issa Hybrid claims to integrates PBT polymer bristles with hygienic properties superior to standard nylon bristles on the inner segment of the brush head to cover the surface area of the teeth and it suitable for people who seek stronger cleaning or have more plaque buildup due to their lifestyles or natural predispositions.
FAILS:
To start with it has a huge brush head , if you can already make out in the picture the bristles are way too tiny to actually reach in between teeth gaps. The battery claims fail again as the battery discharges every 3 months .The soft silicon bristles are very gentle on gums and feel good but one would only buy this weekly twice use brush if priced for 79$ and not 199$ .I wonder why brands don’t understand its about pricing it right than to not have sales at all .

LANCOME
La Rôse Blush Poudrer

Thank to the lords this was a limited edition that never returned . I love the brand Lancome inside out and i wonder why did Lancome launch this piece of Flower , the packing of this was beautiful and looked so pristine but the product a huge fail . This was priced for 60$ and it was called a highlighter and was not even close to it , an entire palette of Highlights can be brought from ABH for the same price .

Dr. Brandt Skincare
MAGNETIGHT

We all fell in love when we saw this magical mask that had first of its kind magnetic properties and it looked so fancy when it was being removed using the magnet .
CLAIMS:
Leveraging the power of magnetic attraction, this ahead-of-the-curve breakthrough mask helps counter the effects of stress and environmental damage as it simultaneously recharges and rejuvenates the skin. Iron magnetic particles draw out toxins and daily residue, while aromatherapeutic lavender soothes the senses. Black tourmaline, a powerful mystic stone known as one of nature’s most energizing minerals, is ground into the finest powder to neutralize negative energy and boost positivity , rendering skin radiant.

FAILS :
To start with this mask is priced for 75$ . This mask is full of essential oils and other fruit oils that can highly irritate the skin , it got worst when the ingredient list had Silica in it . I really appreciate how the magnetic innovation was formulated in to a mask but the ingredients list and the product output was not worth the magnetic show .

GIVENCHY
Le Soin Noir Lace Face Mask

330$ , yes you read it right , this mask is priced for a whooping 330$ . I love Givenchy and so many of Givenchy products but this definitely had me disappointed .

CLAIMS :

The Supreme Alliance of Life Algae complex, an amazing fusion of two algae selected for their extraordinary life force*, targets the integrality of the cell life cycle* to correct all the signs of aging. A captivating combination of an haute couture lace mask and an intriguing black formula highly concentrated for maximum power, this precious black lace adjusts to the face’s features to deliver its exceptional remodeling force.

FAILS :
The black lace mask was beautiful and looks stunning upon application , but the claims of face re-modelling with a lace mask went a little too haywire . The box has 4 lace masks that brings it down to 83 $ per mask . Is it worth 83$ for one time use definitely not with the basic prime ingredient of Algae .
